    WORLD’S FAIR
    was held at
    TREASURE ISLAND
    – which is written in gold across the letter opener.
    San Francisco also celebrated the city’s 2 newly built bridges ~ the San Francisco – Oakland Bridge and the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!! The exposition opened from February 18, 1939, through October 29, 1939, and from May 25, 1940, through September 29, 1940.
