    Description

Vintage promotional flyer for the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, printed more than 80 years ago.
It opens to 10¼" x 6¼" and includes black-and-white photographs and text on the tramway, including information on ski trails and practice slopes, summer fares on the tramway, and views from the summit observation platform.
The photos include views of Franconia Notch, Indian Head, and the Old Man of the Mountain.
The flyer was published by the New Hampshire Aerial Tramway Commission circa 1938, shortly after the opening of the "first modern aerial tramway to the summit of a mountain ever to be erected in North America," with a vertical ascent "twice the height of the Empire State Building."
