UST PURCHASED A GROUP OF PAPER ITEMS FROM ANOTHER LOCAL WHO IS DOWNSIZING IN PREPARATION FOR A MOVE AND PICKED UP SOME VERY NICE VINTAGE PAPER ITEMS.  A GOOD PORTION OF THESE ITEMS WERE FROM HER MOTHER WHO TOOK A RAIL JOURNEY ACROSS THE U.S. AND COLLECTED LOTS OF SOUVENIRS OF THIS JOURNEY.  SHE EVEN ATTENDED BOTH THE NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR AS WELL AS THE CAN FRANCISCO EXPOSITION IN 1939.  WE'LL BE LISTING VARIOUS SINGLES AND GROUPS OF POSTCARDS AND OTHER PAPER ITEMS; YOU MIGHT LIKE TO CHECK OUT THE OTHERS AS WELL.

THIS NEAT GROUP CONTAINS ALL THE ITEMS YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS.  IT INCLUDES 4 ELEPHANT TRAIN TICKET STUBS AND 2 SOUVENIR EXPOSITION TICKET STUBS.  ALSO INCLUDED IS A BROCHURE TITLED "HOW TO DOUBLE YOU FUN AT THE......." PUT OUT BY STANDARD OIL CO. OF CALIFORNIA.  FINALLY, THERE IS A POST CARD FOLDER CONTAINING AT TO OF 18 VIEWS.  EVERYTHING IS QUITE COLORFUL AND NICE AND CLEAN TOO.  WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE POSTCARD FOLDER, THESE SHOW TO HAVE BEEN AFFIXED IN A SCRAP BOOK AT ONE TIME BY THE COUPLE GLUE SPOTS ON THE CORNERS (SEE PHOTOS).
