Description
Temple Mountain Ski Area is a defunct New Hampshire downhill ski area that operated from 1938 until 2001. During peak operation, the ski area featured night skiing, snowmaking, a quad chairlift (the first in New Hampshire), a double chairlift, and multiple T-bars and rope tows. This 9x16" four-color brochure was from the 1991-1992 ski season. It includes a trail map and complete rate schedule, where an all-day adult lift ticket was .00 on weekends and .00 on weekdays. The ski area closed forever after the 2000-2001 ski season. The quad chairlift was sold to Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Massachusetts, while the double was sold to SkyTrans Manufacturing and was later used as a ride at the Milwaukee Zoo. In December 2007, the State of New Hampshire, with some federal funds, purchased the 352 acres for a reported million, creating the Temple Mountain State Reservation.
