    Description

    A scarce if not rare unopened correspondence paper from the San Francisco Golden Gate International Exposition (GGIE).  The paper has an image of the GGIE at the bottom of the paper.  Probably very few of these have survived intact.  There are at least 16 pieces of GGIE stationary tightly wrapped with the original GGIE paper wrap.  The paper states in part
    “WORLD’S FAIR CORRESPONDENCE PAPER,
    1939 GOLDEN GATE INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY,
    OFFICIAL LICENSE”
    The paper is 7 ¼ x 10 ½ inches in size.  The wrapping paper has a crease (appears as made) to the right and otherwise is in nice condition.
