This is a very interesting multiple leaf plate from the Eocene of Utah. The large leaf on the left of the plate is Salix cockerelli, a Willow leaf. This fossil plant displays very well on the plate of shale. The distinct leaf at the upper right is Zelcova nervosa, a Keaki Tree leaf. This specimen also has nice color and detail preserved. Both leaves are nice examples of their types. This is a very cool plate of two different fossil leaves from the
"Fossil Lake" Deposits.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS.com is included with this specimen.
